Terms of Use
Camera Ledger provides educational calculations and planning estimates. It does not design, certify, install, monitor, or warrant a security system.
Use of the tools
You may use the site for lawful personal or commercial planning. You are responsible for the accuracy of inputs and for checking results against the exact camera, recorder, switch, storage, lens, cable, and software documentation.
No professional or performance guarantee
Results do not guarantee retention duration, image quality, detection, recognition, identification, evidentiary suitability, network uptime, electrical capacity, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, or fitness for a security objective. Use qualified professionals where the project, law, risk, or contract requires them. Commission and test the installed system under representative conditions.
Availability and errors
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Camera Ledger disclaims warranties and liability for decisions or losses based on the site. If you find an error, stop relying on the result and send a reproducible report.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
Original site text, visual design, and code are protected by applicable law. You may link to pages and quote brief passages with attribution. Do not copy the site wholesale, interfere with service, probe systems without authorization, upload malicious input, or represent Camera Ledger as endorsing a product.
Third-party links and changes
External links are provided for reference; their owners control their content. We may change or discontinue features and update these terms. Continued use after an effective-date change means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
